I am new to building apps from source code in Mac and to QT, so this may seem very basic. I have a MacBook Pro running OS X Mavericks with a retina screen (3360 × 2100). QtDesigner 4.8.6 and other apps I have built on Qt 4.8 (such as QGIS) have graphic objects with a very low resolution — like older displays. I am wondering if this has anything to do with my configuration when I installed Qt Designer from source code? Perhaps a ./configure setting? Or is this another problem? What can I try?
I am particularly keen to improve the display quality of QGIS as this is a mapping app and I need to see my output nicely on screen.
Thank you to all this who can help.
